How to Apply
Step 1 - Enquire about enrolling in a course
Submit a Student Enquiry form and an experienced Academic Consultant will contact you to discuss the best course for you.

Step 2 - Application
Once you have spoken to an Academic Consultant and you are wanting to enrol in a program, submit the completed Application Form that you have received from AICT.
In addition to your completed Application Form you must submit:
- Evidence of English Language proficiency
- Certified copies of previous academic results in English
Apply early - Places are limited and you shoud submit your application as soon as possible.
Step 3 - Offer a Place
If your application is successful, we will send you a Letter of Offer and an International Student Enrolment Form within 3 working days. The Letter of offer will state:
- The program you have been offered, compulsory health insurance costs, commencemnet date, duration and location.
- AICT program Fees, any other fees and the refund policy
- Information about services to AICT international students including airport pick-up and help in finding accommodation before you arrive. To use this service, complete the form here
Step 4 - Acceptance
To accept the Letter of Offer, you must pay the fees stated in your Letter of Offer and any other charges described in the Letter of Offer; and complete the Enrolment Form that accompanies your Letter of Offer.
Payment details, including methods of payment, and where to send your payments, are outlined in the Letter of Offer.
Step 5 - Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)
When the institute receives your Enrolment Form and the fees described in the Letter of Offer, you will be issued with a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) within 3 working days. If you are paying by bank transfer, it may take longer as it takes some time for the bank to complete the transaction. You cannot receive a Student Visa until Australian Immigration staff receive a confirmation of Enrolment issued by the Institute.
Step 6 - Visa
Apply for your VISA. Australian Immigration will explain the requirements that you will need to meet to obtain your Student Visa.
These include proof of ability to pay fees and support yourself in Australia and compliance with health regulations. If you have applied with the assistance of one of our overseas representative offices, that officewill also be able to assist you with these procedures.
Step 7 - Paying Fees
To secure your position in your nominated course and start date, you must pay in full any outstanding amounts owing to AICT. This must be paid before departing to Australia.
Step 8 - Departure
Make your final preparations for arrival in Australia. Please ensure that you respond to inforamtion we send you concerning Airport Reception and Accommodation preferences in your pre-departure guide.
Australian Government Requirements
Student Visas
You must obtain a Student Visa before arriving in Australia. Your Student Visa means you study full time.
We are obliged to report any student who does not attend classes, or who is not making satisfactory progress to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.(www.immi.gov.au)

Overseas Student Health Cover
This is a compulsory Health Insurance that is required for the issuing of a Student Visa.
