Important Legislation
The Australian education system is regulated by national legislation to ensure that the rights of students are consistently applied and that quality in education delivery is maintained. Specifically for international students the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000 and the National Code 2007 are part of the ESOS framework governing the responsibilities of Education Providers towards overseas students. As an International student it is your responsibility to ensure you that understand your rights and obligations in regard to AICT's academic progress rules and your student visa conditions.

Tuition Assurance
In the unlikely event that Australian Institute of Commerce and Technology ("AICT") is unable to deliver your program in full, you will be offered a refund of all the program money you have paid to date. The refund will be paid to you within 2 weeks of the day on which the course ceased being provided.
If Australian Institute of Commerce and Technology is unable to provide a refund or place you in an alternative course our Tuition Assurance Scheme (TAS) (Australian Council for Private Education and Training, ACPET) will place you in a suitable alternative course at no extra cost to you.
Finally, if ACPET cannot place you in a suitable alternative course, the ESOS Assurance Fund Manager will attempt to place you in a suitable alternative course or, if this is not possible, you will be eligible for a refund as calculated by the Fund Manager.
