AICT (Hands On Computer Training International Pty Ltd ATF Computer Training Trust trading as Australian Institute of Commerce and Technology| RTO Provider: 2058) has the right to make any enquiries necessary to verify the information disclosed in this application.
By accepting these terms the student agrees to pay the full Course fees (plus GST if applicable) even if they do not complete the Course. All listed course fees do not include GST unless otherwise stated. If there is a default of any fees the Student shall reimburse AICT all costs and expenses incurred in pursuing the debt including legal and collection agency costs.
Course cancellations/withdrawals must be notified in writing. Course cancellations/withdrawals made following the commencement of a course may incur the full course fee. Commencement of enrolment is considered the time the student receives their login details. All business students or students studying an AQTF Project management course have a 5 day cooling off period. If a student decides to cancel/withdraw in this period they will forfeit $230 plus $100 for any unit they have started. There is no cooling off period for all other courses. If a student withdraws from a course or program due to illness, extreme hardship or other compassionate circumstances that AICT see fit. It is at the sole discretion of AICT to refund the course fees. Satisfactory evidence such as medical certifications must be produced. Cancellations and withdraws (other than eligible cancellations) for students that have commenced their course will not be entitled to any refund.
Course extensions are only applicable for business students or students studying an AQTF Project management course. All other students must re-enrol in their course of choice. If a course is not completed within the given timeframe, access will be immediately suspended. Applications for course extensions must be made in writing two weeks prior to course end date. All business students or students studying an AQTF Project management course can extend the duration of their studies by 6 months for 25% of the listed course price at the time of their enrolment. Students may extend their course subject to approval for a maximum of 2 extra 6 month periods only, each period will incur the stipulated charge. The duration of a course is stated in the course description and/or advised at time of enrolment. All courses are non-transferable once the student has commenced. Transferable requests prior to commencement is at the discretion of AICT
Login Details & Copyright
All login identification; Username, password or similar information must remain confidential. Students must not allow any unauthorized person use their login Information. AICT must be notified immediately if suspected or if actual unauthorised use has happened. Failure to notify AICT, can lead to: o Suspension to all or any part of the site o Edit or removal of any submitted material
No unauthorized reproduction of any material published on the site is permitted without prior written consent from AICT. All of the sites content is subject to Australian intellectual property laws.
Certificate, diploma or Statement of Attainment:
AICT will issue a Certificate, diploma or Statement of Attainment/s upon satisfactory completion of their course on (if applicable). Issue of this documentation will take 4 weeks once all units are marked competent. Students can request their Certificate, diploma or Statement of Attainment to be issued in one week. This will incur a charge of $250. All re-issuance of Certificate, diploma or Statement of Attainment will incur a charge of $50.
Trainer support is only provided via email. Business students or students studying an AQTF Project management course will receive email responses within 72 hours of query submission. Submitted course work can take up to 3 weeks to be assessed. Students can request to have their work assessed in two business days for a fees $100 per unit. AICT uses a third party organisation to provide support for our Information technology, Project management and desktop application courses. Support is provided 24 hours a day. AICT must be informed in writing of any grievances that may arise.
Recognised Prior Learning/ credit transfer
Students can apply for Recognised Prior Learning/ credit transfer. Students must submit their portfolio of evidence by post. Each module can take up to 4 weeks to be assessed by the academic board. The academic board’s decision is final. Only when a student has been successfully enrolled in a course can the RPL/Credit transfer process begin.
All course materials are supplied via AICT’s online learning portal unless otherwise stated in the course description. Where applicable students can request a printed version of their course and a fee of $50 plus postage and packaging will apply. Upon commencement students will be given access to only 3 modules unless stated otherwise. Once these units are complete 3 more modules will be released. Business students or students studying an AQTF Project management course can resubmit their work one time per unit free of charge. A third submission of courses work will incur a charge of $100 per unit.

Acceptance of Course Enrolment Agreement:
By accepting the terms and condition you are 18 years of age or over; or if you are under 18 years of age, your parent or guardian accepts the conditions of this agreement. AICT may at any time amend these terms and condition to ensure compliance with State and Federal laws.
