You Will Need

You should be familiar with networking topics such as TCP/ IP, IP confi guration, peer-to-peer networking, subnetting, building a routing table, and other network protocols, standards, and architecture.

Completed Certifications

Cisco Certifi ed Network Associate (CCNA) Exam 640-802 Please note: CCNA Certifi cations are valid for three years. AICT is an Authorised Pearson Vue Testing Centre.

What is included in the course?

This course teaches the basic steps on installation, confi guring and connecting to a Cisco router. It will help you develop a complete understanding of networking, and how different network topologies work together. Delivery is in a technical lab, instructed by a Certifi ed CCNA Trainer using the latest technologies. The course provides practical hands on training using actual routers in combination with simulation software leading to an industry focused articulation project on the last day.

Learning Outcomes

At the completion of this course the student should be able to:

  • Install, confi gure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for small networks of less than 100 nodes.
  • Expertise in use of IP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, Serial, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLANs, Ethernet, and Access Lists.
  • Install and confi gure Cisco switches and routers in multi-protocol internet-works using LAN and WAN interfaces.
  • Provide Level 1 troubleshooting service.
  • Improve network performance and security
